Fixed And Removable Dentures

Denture Types

  • Complete: All of the teeth are replaced by complete dentures. Unlike dental bridges that are fixed to pre-existing teeth, they are positioned on top of the gums. After the teeth are pulled, complete dentures are usually put between six weeks and two months later.
  • Partial Dentures: If a patient still has some of their natural teeth, partial dentures are used to replace a small number of them. Here, the partial denture aids in providing firm support for the natural teeth. There is a metal component that is connected to a pink base. and the denture is held in place in the mouth by these two components. Because they are detachable, you can remove them whenever necessary.
  • Fixed Dentures: It functions similarly to a natural tooth and is essentially drilled and glued into your gums. Since you don’t have to take them out, these are perfect dentures, and most people prefer them to full dentures. Comparatively speaking, these cost more than any other dentures.
